Hari dan Ibadah: Suatu Perspektif Etis Teologis Berdasarkan Keluaran 20:9
Abstract
Many Christians still do not understand what it means to "work" in Exodus 20: 9 God says six days you will do your work and do your work. Work is a noble thing, but there are still many among the believers who are wrong in determining the days for them to work, because because work is more important to life than worship, therefore some Christians still mistakenly use all days to work, including Sundays. This research uses the bibliography method (Library Research) using books, articles and other reading material, the approach used is descriptive research, the focus is on the meaning of the six days you will do your work and do your work Exodus 20: 9.
Dalam kalangan orang Kristen masih banyak tidak mengerti apa makna “bekerja” dalam Keluaran 20:9 Allah bersabda enam hari lamanya engkau akan melakukan bekerja dan melakukan pekerjaanmu. Bekerja adalah hal yang mulia, akan tetapi masih banyak di kalangan umat percaya salah dalam menetapkan hari untuk mereka bekerja, karena apa karena pekerjaan lebih penting bagi kehidupan daripada ibadah oleh sebab itu orang Kristen masih ada yang keliru menggunakan semua hari untuk bekerja termasuk hari minggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode daftar pustaka (Library Research) menggunakan dengan buku-buku, artikel-artikel dan bahan bacaan yang lain, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah dengan penelitian deskriptif fokusnya adalah pada makna enam hari lamanya engkau akan melakukan bekerja dan melakukan pekerjaanmu Keluaran 20:9.
